My family is big and it is small, both parts so full of love. I have one big family that includes all of our loved ones. The people who Ben and I are connected to, not just by blood, but by love. Family is there for us through the good times and also through the bad times. When Elliot passed away, Ben and I learned just how much our family loves us and each other.

I want you to know that we love you too. You held us together in our darkest hours. And you keep us going now, in our new lives. You are not scared to carry this burden of grief we’ve all been left with. I know you wish you could carry it all for Ben and me. Most of all, you love Elliot unconditionally. Thank you.
