Have you done anything special to memorialize your child?

When Elliot was born, Ben and I immediately felt the need to memorialize her. We’ve done several things over the past 18 months that we hold very close to our hearts.

We got memorial tattoos. This is mine.

And Ben’s

We planted a Cherokee Brave Dogwood tree in our yard and peonies beneath the nursery window.

And did some other projects.

Focusing our energy and grief in these projects has helped my heart tremendously. We may not be able to see or hold Elliot, but we can still do things for her. ❤️
